The Petzl Volta 9.2mm is a high-end climbing rope, suitable for a range of disciplines. The dry treated construction, ultra-light design make this rope perfect for everything from classic mountaineering to elite level flash or red point ascents.

The Petzl Volta 9.2mm is ultra-light and triple rated, allowing for optimal functionality in belay devices, whilst also being adaptable for use in single, half or twin-rope situations. The Duratec Dry treatment makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt and abrasion. Handling, grip and other characteristics are also retained longer in cold, wet conditions. The UltraSonic finish welds the core and the sheath as one, further improving durability and avoiding frayed ends. The Volta comes “ClimbReady” (lap coiled) meaning it’s set for use straight out of the packaging. A Middle Mark helps further improve safety margins, and finally, the EverFlex (thermal) treatment stabilises the core strands and improves consistency of use over the life span of the rope.
