Petzl Meteora

The Petzl Meteora is a multi-use, multi-season helmet designed for climbing, backcountry tours and ski-mountaineering adventures with an adapted headband to be worn with a ponytail.

With a lightweight and low profile design, the Petzl Meteor has excellent ventilation making it comfortable for both summer and winter use. With reinforced protection to the top and circumference of the head, the Meteor is suitable for climbing and is also the first CE-certified ski touring helmet. there are optimal integration points for ski goggles or visors that make it a thoughtfully styled helmet, optimised for ski touring.

It should be noted though that this helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine ski helmets, so should not be used on pistes.
