La Sportiva Solution Comp

The La Sportiva Solution Comp is a modified version of the classic Solution. Taking the universally revered base design of the original model, La Sportiva have softened up the midsole and reduced both the width and volume of the heel. A super adaptable shoe for all modern bouldering styles.

The updated heel is specifically aimed at climbers who simply didn’t have the volume to fill out the injection moulded heel cup used in the original model. Whilst the softer 0.9mm laspo flex midsole (opposed to 1.1mm) and 3.5mm outsole (opposed to 4mm) means the shoe is more flexible and thus adept on athletic volume intensive climbs, prows or clamping sequences.

A further refinement is that of an increased coverage of rubber on the toe box upper, meaning the Solution Comp, is arguably even better on toe hooks and foot cams. As with all recent performance models, this shoe features La Sportiva’s famous P3 system, which keeps the shape of the shoe throughout its lifespan. An amazing shoe for competition climbing and all styles requiring maximum feel and adaptability.
