Edelweiss Curve Unicore 9.8mm

The Edelweiss Curve Unicore 9.8mm is a versatile, lightweight and fluid single rated rope. Part of the ‘Perform 3’ range, it promises lighter and improved handling along with increased shock absorption. This is achieved through dedicated research and development throughout the manufacturing process, encompassing the materials used, treatment and the construction of the rope itself. 

Features

• Perform 3: uses the latest generation of polymer fibres to decrease the weight of the rope, creating a better handling and performing rope. This in turn means a lower impact force, meaning it is more comfortable to take a fall. The ratio of durability to shock absorption therefore tends to guarantee the endurance of the rope.
• Unicore: Bonds the ropes core and sheath without affecting suppleness or usability. Sheath slippage is therefore suppressed, if the sheath is damaged it will remain bound to the core – allowing the user to escape the system.
• HD Cover: Each thread is braided individually – meaning the rope surface is smoother, wear through abrasion is reduced, and the rope lifetime is extended.
