The Boreal Joker Lace Womens is a mega comfortable yet technical, lace-up climbing shoe aimed at beginner/intermediate climbers. The womens version offers a lower volume fit and narrower heel that will suit those with narrow or slim feet. 

Featuring extensive use of recycled materials, but still offering the same level of comfort the Boreal Joker Lace is the perfect first shoe for beginners. Designed to be worn all day long, this sustainable shoe has a super-comfortable semi-asymmetric last with a slim fitting heel and low tension rand, and an upper of high quality split leather and synthetic recycled microfibre with a PU Air Net lining for exceptional comfort and breathability. There is a newly developed, specially shaped heel cavity filled with shock absorbing EVA for improved under foot cushioning, and the rubber used provides the ideal blend of edging support and long-lasting friction. The heel of the Joker lace is made from recycled rubber, while the toe is the specially formulated Zenith Quattro compound. 

With the option of fitting the shoe the same as your street shoe size to wear all day, or down sizing for increased precision, the joker really is comfort and performance in one package. Making it suitable for both newcomers looking for a comfortable first pair, and more experienced climbers looking for a long route shoe.

• Cushioned Heel System – In order to improve comfort when stepping off the rock or walking between routes, Boreal developed the Cushioned Heel System (CHS). Using shock absorbing EVA under the heel, the foot is cushioned from rocky and hard ground.
• Integrated Rand System – A one piece climbing sole that never deforms and has a superior fit. Different thicknesses in the rubber can be achieved and the one-piece construction increases durability. 
• Zenith Rubber – A high performance rubber compound developed by Boreal, providing outstanding friction and excellent feel on the smallest of edges.
